Continually stimulating our palates
The food pairings at this establishment at @avalonwijnenspijs are always inspiring. What particularly intrigues me is Martine’s approach, which straddles the line between Western and Japanese cuisines, incorporating Japanese ingredients such as sake lees, seaweed, ponzu (Japanese citrus), white soy sauce, and more. While the ingredients may be familiar or oftentimes I have them at home, the innovative execution always offers a fresh perspective. Thank you for continually stimulating our palates.
